Ekin Gigi Breakup- Maggie's Point of View

Ekin & Gigi Breakup of the Century! But Maggie really hasn't had much say in all of this despite her name being thrown around excessively since the break-up. Was she the reason for Ekin and Gigi's separation? OR...was there someone else? Either way- Maggie has moved on regardless of all the tabloids. She has gone on to be nominated for Best Supporting Actress role in ELECTION....and now stars in the new TVB series, CIB Investigation Files. Maggie has proven to be a true class-act.



Sporting a new perm, Maggie was the focus of the media. Due to the recent break-up of Ekin Cheng and Gigi Leung Wing Kei, Maggie has been the focus of the HK papparazzi. Asked if Maggie was unused to the attention, Maggie said it is alright, as the reporters are only doing their duty [to hand in the news story for publication]. However, many people have pointed out that Maggie has appeared quite happy since news of Ekin and Gigi's break-up was revealed. Maggie said, "Of course it's better for people to be happy!" Maggie refused to answer additional questions regarding Ekin.

Bowie said that he feels bad for Maggie, as she has split up with Ekin so many years ago, yet reporters are still asking her about him. If Maggie doesn't smile, then reporters said that she in unfriendly, but if she appears to be happy, then reporters write that Maggie is gloating at Ekin's news. Since Bowie filmed "Always Ready" earlier with Ekin, Bowie has also tried to call Ekin to ask how he is doing, but was unable to reach him. When Bowie saw him last month, Ekin appeared fine.

There have been rumors that Linda Chung Ka Yan was the third party in Ekin's relationship. (Hey! That sounds exactly like the scene from TVB's ALMOST READY with Linda and Ekin) Bowie said he doesn't know anything. Bowie was more concerned as to when Ekin will be moving to his new apartment; he is looking forward to the housewarming.
