Nicholas & Cecilia Perform on Same Stage for the First Time After Marriage
 
Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung had not officially performed on the same stage after getting married but on Thursday night, Mr and Mrs Tse performed in a CCT music show, ‘Tong Yi Shou Ge’ (同一首歌). Although it the two did not perform together, it is definitely achievable in the future as the two is sure to collaborate to work on duets and movies. When both Nicholas and Cecilia returned to backstage after their individual performances, chaos occurred but Cecilia returned safely back to their VIP room under the protection of her loving husband.
On the show, Nicholas was first to perform and as he sang three songs, organisers used three fans to present him with ‘lucky dolls’- a present to congratulate his marriage. Later, despite also performing three songs, Cecilia did not take the spotlight from her husband.
Organisers originally planned for Nicholas and Cecilia to perform together but because they wanted to avoid harm on their special guests in the audience if the media became uncontrollable the idea had to be cancelled. The managers of both artists also rejected the idea as they were afraid that tabloids would begin writing up rumors.
