Gigi Lai Chi, Rain Li Choi Wah, Niki Chow and sister, Kathy Chow appeared at a Starwood Hotel promotional event in Macau. The four ladies were invited as guests to honor the grand opening of a Japanese restaurant at the hotel.
Although all the women dressed beautifully, Gigi was the focal point due to her $3.5 million (HKD) diamond jewelry. Gigi wore a low-cut tube dress and revealed half her chest.
Due to the valuable jewelry Gigi was wearing, she was protected by security guards. Gigi indicated that her clothes and jewelry were arranged by Starwood Hotel. She was also satisfied with the six figure endorsement fee she received for the event. After the event, Gigi will be returning to Hong Kong to film "The Gem of Life" 《珠光寶氣》(formerly referred to as "Jewel's Splendor").
In 2008, Gigi will take a hiatus in filming series after the completion of "The Gem of Life." She will focus on filming ads and charity work. If the opportunity arises, Gigi hopes to go to China and establish a charity fund.
