Kate Tsui not Worried about Joey Stealing Limelight
 
Kate Tsui will be playing a cadet in the new series "Cadets on the Beat" (Academy 2) and in order to tie in with her character, she is required to cut her hair short. Kate went for the chop yesterday and she seemed rather nervous as she entered the salon. To meet the strict regulations of the police training school, she has had to go very short and asked if she was happy with her new style, she replied: "I am happy, it feels really light. It has been over ten years since I had it this short and the last time was because the stylist accidentally took too much off."
Talking of Joey Yung appearing in this series, is Kate worried that her limelight will be stolen? She says: "Not at all, having more faces in the cast is helpful to the series and will attract more viewers."
Ron Ng and Kate Tsui took part in a TVB Children's Festival event and Kate revealed that she would be cutting her hair short in preparation for filming "Cadets on the Beat" and she is quite nervous: "I have not had short hair for over ten years now and I am a little reluctant to do it for the series. (Are you afraid of losing fans?) No, they will still support me and maybe I will have more fans. I will do it for the sake of the series." As for working with Ron again, Kate laughs she is not afraid of rumours: "In the series, he will be paired with Joey Yung. (Escaped lightly?) Yes. You can't say that though, Ron is a good colleague of mine." As for Ron, he says he does not mind the reports and he does not read gossip magazines. The most important thing is working well with the others."

| really?? i think long hair is better...because with short hair it makes the side her face look bigger.....though she looks more energetic and more police like..for the series// |

^ yes, short hair does make her look more better..
n her hair doesn't really cover her pretty eyes and eyebrow. 
by comparing, she look more cooler and much more younger. long hair looks ok, but it makes her look abit more older. |
