Hacken Lee to Soon Wed

Confirmed reports have been released with Hacken's announcement to marry previous Miss HK... Andy Lau will be the best man.


At the beginning of 2006, Hacken Lee had announced, "I will get married this year!" Hacken promised that he will wed girlfriend, Lo Suk Yee, whom he had dated for the last 13 years. The last few months passed without Hacken mentioning wedding plans again.
But the Oriental Daily newspaper received information from a reliable source that Hacken will be getting married at the end of November! Andy Lau Tak Wah will be invited to be Hacken's Best Man!

When Hacken received the "Favorite Male Singer" award at the Jade Solid Gold awards ceremony, he announced to the millions of audience watching the show his wedding plans. There were past rumors that Hacken would get married in October or December, but they turned out to be false reports.

Reportedly, Hacken has finalized his wedding date to be at the end of November. Since last week, Hacken has started notifying his family and friends of the news. To avoid leakage to the papparazzi, Hacken has only told 10 people of the actual date so far. The wedding invitation only stated that the wedding will be held in November, with the actual date to be announced later.

Since Hacken is the eldest son in the family, he will have a large banquet for his wedding celebrations. This will make parents from both sides of the family happy. Alan Tam Wing Lun will be the Master of Ceremonies for the wedding.

Earlier in May 2006, Hacken and Lo Suk Yee flew to Britain to watch the World Cup, obtain their marriage license, and take wedding photos. Although returning to HK, Hacken has refused to formally acknowledge that he already obtained his marriage license in Britain.

In his 13 year relationship with Lo Suk Yee, Hacken has never had any negative rumors. However, once he announced his marriage plans, sudden rumors with Kenix Kwok Ho Ying circulated. This alarmed Hacken greatly and he vowed to sue the tabloid magazine responsible for creating such rumors.

Fortunately, the rumors did not affect Hacken. His schedule is busy until the end of the year, but he has a little time in November. This however will still clash with the release of his new album.

TVB had requested Hacken to allow them to broadcast a bachelor special of Hacken before his marriage. TVB would also like to have a live broadcast of the actual wedding day. But Hacken refused on the grounds that he feels his wedding is his private matter. Also he did not want people to feel that he is using his wedding to promote his new album.
