Here's some tips on posting in the forums:

Image Posting

Step 1: Uploading

Karazen only allows you to post pictures if it is hosted. The first thing you have to do is get a host. Some hosts you can get are for image hosting specifically, others are for websites as well.

Recommended Image Hosts:
http://www.mischost.com/
http://www.photobucket.com/
http://www.sighost.us


Okay these sites allow you to upload using a [browse] button. You can put up an avartar that you already have on your computer. Then upload it onto their server.

Step 2: Linking

Make sure your image is .jpg, .gif, .bmp or .png.

Now once the image is online, locate the url for it.

Then, go to the forum, and use the IMG tags. Then insert the URL by pasting it.

Avatars

If you want to use your own image for an avatar, first make sure that the image is under regulations. That means that:
- The image must be 80x80 pixels in size
- The image must be under 10kb in file size.

You can use photo software like photoshop to reduce the sizes of your images.

Go Log in and then to Profile link on the top. There you can edit your profile and upload or use an existing Avatar.

Forum Update (11/25/2006):

1. Added Advanced BBCode Box feature. When you create a new topic or post a reply to any topic, you will see the new feature in action.

It adds lots of useful BBCode features and makes the BBCode buttons look just like Microsoft Office functions. It adds the BBCode exactly where the cursor is, inserts smilies where the cursor is and adds more ways to customize posts. It is very quick loading.

2. Added the Google Video and Youtube feature. You will notice an icon for them on the BBCode Box. So that you can view the videos right here in the forums. Just click on the appropriate icon, put in the direct url of the video and thats it.





3. Also added a new set of smilies
