Mike He and Rainie Yang to collaborate in a new serial drama

Angie Chai Zhi Ping (producer of Meteor Garden 1&2 and Devil Beside You) expressed in a phoned interview about the confirmation of one of the next series she is goin to produce. Its working title “Exchange Love” is to star Taiwanese lovable on sceen couple Mike He Jun Xiang, one of Taiwan’s hottest heartthrobs and Queen of Cute, Rainie Yang Chen Ling. Rigorous preparations are started even this early and cast selections are done with great specificity. This series is set to air early 2008 and Chai mentions this will be financed very well with a hefty budget to ensure the pleasure of fans with a drama with good quality.

The plot revolves around two extremely opposite individuals,a handsome playboy heir who ends up switching bodies with a poor girl who has to juggle three jobs to make ends meet. The two characters then go on a quest to find ways to return to their bodies and fell in love in the process. With the guy being betrothed for business matters and the girl still harboring love for her sister’s boyfriend, will they get through it?

Taiwan heartthrob Mike He Jun Xiang and Rainie Yang Cheng Lin will be joining hands again in their next TV drama series, “Exchange Love.”

The project has been started a few months ago, but both artist couldn’t reach compromise and the project was thought to be cancelled or delayed indefinitely.

There has been a sudden U-turn last week, when Mike told the press that he is indeed going to film the drama with Rainie, which will start production in December with the script slightly change.

Mike and Rainie were involved in popular drama “Devil Beside You” in 2005. Many fans are hoping to see another TV series with both of them starring together again, and seems like they got their wishes granted.

There’s no much details about the new drama, Exchange Love. According to the producer, Mike will play as a kind-hearted bad boy (just like in Devil Beside You), while Rainie will be playing a Cinderella like girl.Exchange Love will also star Kingone Wang Chuan Yi,their co-star in Devil Beside You.
