Gillian Chung Undergoes Laser Surgery
Gillian Chung of Twins underwent laser eye correction surgery this week and to prevent her sensitive eyes, she has been wearing sunglasses for the past few days. Yesterday, at a function, Gillian expressed that despite her eyes were only 200°, she had laser eye correction surgery because her contact lenses kept falling off and were easily lost. “It is quite dangerous to have contacts falling off without knowing. I had wanted to have surgery for quite a while.” The singer then revealed that she had purposely watched television up close when she was younger because she had admired people who wore glasses.
Charlene Choi then disclosed that she is short and long sighted, causing her to not be able to spot friends on the street occasionally, she commented, “Sometimes I could not see them, so I did not say hello. This caused some of them to call me arrogant.”

awww gillian, hope her eyes get well soon. ^__^
same w/ me too. i wear glasses sometimes, n wen i look far away w/o wearing i couldn't tell even tho they r my friends.
felt sorry for twins also.. |

It's sad that people make judgements too hastily...
her friends should think about why she didn't say hi.. if they did they would wuestion that maybe she could not see them and that's why she did not wave...
Everyone should give the benefit of the doubt and understand why people are the way they are.. if they then can not accept it.. then so be it... but understand before you cast a stone...
It is good that Charlene stated that.. now the people will know and will make it more apparent as to who it is waving to her :P |
